Poor Broadband Signal

I work from home and use a printer attached remotely to my computer. Since changing to EE I have had nothing but problems connecting the PC to the the printer with the signal cutting out  several times a day and cancelling the print job. Costing me a lot in wasted time, paper and ink. No point in trying to print before 9am, the signal is dreadful until then.

Not sure if it is connected but unable to watch live TV without the screen gliching.

HELP!!!

Hi @Mapgroup2000,

Welcome to the EE Community

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with your printer connection at the moment. When you say the signal is dropping out several times a day, do you mean your entire broadband signal is dropping or is it just the printer losing connection to the Wi-Fi?

Some devices like printers, especially if they are a bit older can benefit from Wi-Fi compatibility mode, it is worth giving this a try if you have not set it up already. The help page linked includes the instructions for setting it up.

With you mentioning some TV issues as well and if it is your full signal and not just the printer, have you spoken to us yet for one of our guides to run some checks? Or had a fault check run on your line, which you can do by texting HELP to 66033 and following the instructions.
