Orange internet light onTP-Link Archer AXE75 router on full fibre.

I have full fibre broadband and poor WiFi, so I bought an TP-link Archer AXE75 router. I installed it OK but the Internet light is orange, and I cannot log in to the router as there is no connection. Reconnecting the original equipment works as before. Any ideas?

@Ashley120   you say you set up your router, but did you use the setting in the help link below.

And did you connect it directly to the ONT?

Full Fibre
Connection type: Point-to-Point Protocol over ethernet (PPPoE)
Broadband username or login name: bthomehub@btbroadband.com
Broadband password: BT (or leave blank)
Authentication: CHAP
DNS: Auto or Obtain from ISP (we'll automatically provide these when you connect)

You can always login to a router itself even when BB is down or even when there's not even a cable connecting the router to BB. From a device connected to it login to it at its IP, probably looking like 192.168.x.y, & using the username & pwd given on a label on it or a Start-up Guide.
