Not eligible to add shop item to monthly bill

I have a broadband package and wanted to add a Meta Quest from the EE shop to monthly bill for 24 months but site says I am not eligible.  Why is this and can I change it.

It's great to hear you are interested in adding some headphones, as Chris B has mentioned above there are other factors when it comes to adding add to plans to your account. 

You can also purchase Audio Products & Accessories without adding them to your account.
