I have a broadband package and wanted to add a Meta Quest from the EE shop to monthly bill for 24 months but site says I am not eligible. Why is this and can I change it.
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@Martyn2020 The add to plan store doesn’t cover broadband and never has so not really loosing a sale as that’s how EE chose to set this up . but you can still purchase it HERE

Cuz you don't have a mobile contract. Add-to-plan accessories are only available to add to your monthly mobile bill. Get a mobile contract & you can add this accessory.

Before I logged in it said you maybe able to add it to your bill if you are a mobile or broadband customer, very strange, oh well thanks

Probably it's thinking of mobile phone or mobile BB contracts but not fixed BB contracts.

Shame, EE loses a sale

This isn’t actually true it seems. I have a phone contract and sim. Paid my bill for 4 months, not late once. I still cannot add anything to plan

@Brandon59 Think there is also the 6 months with EE so they see how you are doing etc, once past that period it all opens up for you to addon order's etc!

@Brandon59 It is true because this thread is about broadband and trying to and an item to that bill.
A add to plan item has to be within what EE has within your spend limit. The longer you are a customer and pay on time that limit will increase. EE are not going to allow you to spend what they think might be a financial issue to you. It called being a responsible lender.
