Openreach were working at the telegraph pole outside my house and since then I have no landline and no broadband.I have been given the runaround for nearly a week now by EE.I was originally told someone would be out within 2 working days but NO.I rang again to be told that arrangement had been rejected??????They sway between an inside problem to an external one.I KNOW it was created externally.I keep getting messages to say it has been fixed but IT HASNT.Help me

@patmal No one here can get any engineer out to look at your problem. What ever the cause an engineer needs/has to come out to have a look at it. You need to report the issue of no BB or landline do even mention what you think the cause was.

I had an appointment today for a visit from an engineer and nobody turned up.I have reported it several times.Not to pull out the age card but I am 71 and my husband is older and we have no landline and intermittent mobile connection.Not looking goid EE

Hi @patmal I am sorry to hear of the issue you are experiencing.
As Chris has mentioned, getting an engineer out to fix the problem has to be the main thing to happen. They may not need to visit your premises if as you expect the problem is elsewhere.
It may be just the way you are saying it, but multiple fault reporting will not help, and may even delay a fix. Try to keep a simple diary of events, and ask about your fault first reported on xxx and still not fixed yyy days later.
Ask about priority support for vunerable homes with poor or no mobile signal for your landline fault, and emphasise the lack of landline - your broadband won't work properly untill your landline is fixed.

If it is a neighbourhood issue, you could consult BT Service Status to see if any faults are being attended to in your local area.
