broadband was activated today but I’m just getting a flashing aqua ? Only just managed to plug it in tonight, is it updating its firmware or is this normal?

"Go live" day can be any time up to midnight. Flashing Aqua means there's no BB signal.

I had this text today
“ Great news! Your EE service is ready to use. Plug in your broadband equipment and follow the set up instructions “
it was flashing yellow since I posted this but nothing has happened from it. It’s been around 30 minutes?
does it take a long time on the first power up?

A little bit as it establishes your BB creds but that won't happen until you've got a BB connection.
Flashing Yellow means it's trying to get a BB connection but it shouldn't take 30 mins before it times out & flashes Aqua.

Hello Leanne,
brodband is working. Looked at the speeds and they’re not near what we are quoted for. Gave them a call and advised to wait 3 days then check again,
kind regards,
brad
