This morning there is new Pro router firmware r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 and it starts by saying use HTTPS which is then says is not available. It then requires the admin password to get into any level of access. Now testing out what it does.

It allows you to set your own DNS servers in DHCP.

It still does not let you lock the 2.4G WiFi to a channel, it keeps reverting to Channel 11

My guess is that it’ll be a phased rollout. About 5 routers per day at this
rate!😂

@mikefairgrieve Thanks for pointing that out, so at least two now confirmed, only searched @tnj as new for certain, who knows when/where it will happen?

@Colesey Ever the optimist and 5 is way to much!

Still no update on my router either,  Perhaps they did pause the updates to sort the issue with apple devices

Perhaps the firmware update is in stages

This will almost certainly be the case. Based on my experience of past BT/EE/Plusnet firmware updates, they do not all get updated in one fell swoop. Typically takes a few weeks at best.

Understandable really, when you consider there are millions of hubs in the field.
