New Pro Firmware r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 for router and extenders.

This morning there is new Pro router firmware r3.8.24-R-1531355-PROD-1 and it starts by saying use HTTPS which is then says is not available. It then requires the admin password to get into any level of access. Now testing out what it does.

It allows you to set your own DNS servers in DHCP.

It still does not let you lock the 2.4G WiFi to a channel, it keeps reverting to Channel 11

@Ewan15 It may be the case that EE have suspended the FW update rollout for some reason while working on something else at the same time, does happen from time to time!

@Ewan15 : It took 5 days for my SH+ to update from factory f/ware to the latest (at the time) back in July even tho' the latest was extant all those days.

@XRaySpeX Think a few are more concerned about the timescale now from when released to the date now with still not any updates, below when first posted up by i think @Ewan15 time wise...

@JimM11 : I was just pointing out to @Ewan15 that it could take quite a few days to update even during when the update is live.

Anyway I don't see the pertinence of your comment. @Ewan15 says his router is at neither of these versions.
