After many hours of phone calls to every call centre in the world (it seems), my mother still has a non operating home phone.
The equipment is not fit for purpose and simply doesn't work.
When will you provide suitable hardware to allow her to make and receive calls, as she should?

@JimTheGlawsFan This is a public forum, and no one has any access to account details with regards to your post, and only a few EE Customer support personnel. Is there anything that we as customers can do to help or guide you with the issue you have.

@JimTheGlawsFan , Does your mother have fibre broadband? If so, she will need the phone connected to the router, which will need plugging in to the correct socket.
Maybe if you explain what the problem is with her phone not working, we may be able to advise, but as @JimM11 , has written, we are not customer service and no idea of your problem and why the phone is not working.

@JimTheGlawsFan has your mother just upgraded her broadband and taken out a phone plan with it ? You don’t say and I think there’s more to this than the phone doesn’t work. If there has been a new installation then the phone doesn’t plug in to the phone socket it goes it to the router as it’s a digital phone line now not analog. Perhaps you should read THIS

She is a new customer and the hardware doesn't work.
She was with BT and was moved over to EE.
The provided adapters to make a standard phone work through the WiFi do not work consistently.
EE customer service is a total waste of time.

Did she have DV with BT or did she move from an analogue landline with BT to DV with EE?
