Moving my BT landline number to EE

Hello, 

I have made several calls to EE customer service to try and get my BT landline ported to my new EE digital service, moved from BT to EE on 05/02/25 and asked to keep old landline number (which I’ve had for fifty years) was given a temporary digital number but can not seem to get old number back and am worried about a 30 day window I have heard about, the telephone number is used for bank codes and keeping in contact with many old friends and relatives and am at my wits end and desperately want this resolved

Hello, just an update, old landline number ported back on 7th March, had to reboot router on day,  all working now!

@Marye80  Alas no one has account access on here, but you should contact customer services to ensure they are doing all they can to transfer your number.

Have they given you any reason for the delay?

Thanks for replying, no they have not given a reason for the delay, all customer service tell me now for the last two plus weeks is that it has been moved to a manager who will call me back but I haven’t heard anything

When was it the manager you spoke with mention that they'd be likely to call back?

Thanks for replying, I have spoke to customer service three times and been told that it’s been passed to a manager and I would get a call back on 19/02/25, they never called, rang again on 21/02/25 and CS told me they would send another email to manager and to expect a call again, but still nothing

Thanks for reply,  just called again today, got through to technical support they gave me a date for return of old number as 07/03/70, person I spoke to was very helpful and seemed positive he would be able to sort it all out, fingers crossed!!
