Considering moving our broadband to EE after several (not especially happy) years with Vodafone. Looking at the Fiber 67 Essentials package.
Our main socket is in a really inconvenient place for coverage over the house, so we have always previously used our own kit: Draytek modem, UniFi wireless access point connected to the modem via switch & CAT-5 wired network. The branded kit that all previous providers offered hasn't been up to the job. Vodafone's kit was dreadful but we stuck with them for the line because it was (relatively) cheap.
Have people used their own setup with EE's broadband with relative success, or am I going to be tied into their own solutions? Or - miracle of miracles - does EE have any kind of own-branded kit that's actually worth it? Many thanks for any advice.
