Move in new build

Hi all,

I am moving to a new build house this week and the developer has informed us that the house has not been connected to open reach network yet due to infrastructure issues and will not be connected within the next couple months.

Currently I am on a 2 year contract with EE which will not be able to move to new address as no broadband will be available.

Would I be able to cancel my current contract without any cancellation fee being required?

Thanks

Hello @thanosbeliotis ,

Welcome to the community,

I would suggest you speak to customer service about this and they should be able to let you know.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

@thanosbeliotis  short answer is unlikely.

But do give customer services a call, they are the only ones who can answer your question.

But also chase the developer, maybe get a reduction in price for failing to have essential services available - or whatever, I am sure there will be something they can do if they want you to move in sooner.
