Hi everyone,
I just had email offering a better deal for £44.99 with 4g back up included which I agreed to sign up to. The website said £44.99 a month ongoing but I got a email confirmation saying I have to pay £10 a month for 4g backup additionally £54.99. I was paying £10 a month for 4g backup in addition of £31.99.
This was the offer
Keep everything as in terms of equipment but add on WiFi optimizer and security. This included keep connected for £44.99 a month. I agreed to £44.99 a month not £54.99.
Are EE in the wrong miss selling or am I in the wrong. It definitely said £44.99 a month with 4g back up included in the price.
I contacted EE to complain and they're adamant I'm paying £54.99. They said the email confirmation is what I agreed to pay £54.99 which I did not agree to pay.
Any information and help much appreciated.

£44.99 / month even sounds too much to me. Regards the 4G back-up, if you have a EE sim or mobile contract you should have limited data already with at least 4G if not 5G which you can use as backup.

Hi,
I was paying £31.99 for 900mb broadband with addition of 4g back up which is £10. They said on the website I can all this included
-Wifi controls
-wifi intelligence
-wifi optimizer
-cyber security multi
-keep connected promise i.e 4g back up
The only reason I chose 4g back up is I have 4 security cameras which I need to monitor whilst I'm away as I'm working a lot abroad ATM. I thought it was a great deal with the additional EE security multi, WiFi intelligence included which I didn't have before.
I'm am 90% confident I've been miss sold. They've escalated my complaint so I think I've got a case.
They shouldn't charge additional £10 now as 4g should be included in the £44.99.

@DBedford1958 : The whole point of the 4G Stay Connected backup is that when the main BB goes down it will auto feed your existing home network. If you use an EE SIM or mobile instead you'd have to set up all the connections up again on it & it may not reach devices connected to the network's WiFi Extenders.

Yes I understand what 4g back up is. My complaint with EE is they offered me it £44.99 without additional £10. But they still insist I pay an additional £10 a month.

@Iamlengend56 : Yes, I expect you do but I was explaining it to @DBedford1958 , not you.
