Leaving EE Broadband - do I need to contact them?

Hi all,

Im unfortunately leaving EE Broadband for Sky (never had issues with EE, but Sky is £10+ cheaper per month in comparison.) I've ordered my new broadband from Sky, but do I need to contact EE to tell them im leaving?

I believe Sky is with Openreach, so they should contact EE and tell them off my intention to leave on my behalf?
