Latest version of app no longer connects to the hub

Latest version of the app on android no longer connects to the hub and means no access to parental controls, security etc. App version is 5.95.1

Previous version was fine.

Running on a Pixel 10 with Android 17 latest build

Factory resetting the hub, uninstalling and reinstalling the app and resetting network settings on phone does not resolve the issue.

Also tried on another phone, also an Android with the same problem...also running the same version of the app.

@Wibblemonster1 Think android 16 is fine as was posted yesterday. So go back if possible or stop using the service as is. See link below.

After upgrade to Android 17 EE app wont link with my hub - The EE Community

See last part off the post from @Maxell and give it a try, also reach out to see what version app he has in use.

There is just NO back door with any off it, no app working then your system control is GONE.

Thanks for pointing me to a similar post.

Tried leaving the hub off for 30 mins, as per other post, but the problem persists on both our Android phones (running android 17).

@Wibblemonster1 Then would be @Maxell is your Android 17 version man and all depends on what version off the app he is running and the connection settings of both one would assume. From the google store info just now, would do a check again just in case the version is not updated but the date was 4 days ago.

? Does the app do anything else like connect to the account, show you bills etc or is it just not doing anything.

I have same android version 17 UI 9, and latest version of app 5.95.1. Do you have latest Google Play System Update from September 2026, if not update this as that seemed to help. Do a long reboot, leave hub off for a few minutes before restarting. See if this works.

It still connects to my account to view my bills, package etc. It just won't connect to the hub, so anything relating to the hub, including speed test, parental controls etc in inaccessible.

Yes that is what I had and a long reboot worked.

No joy. Checked and it was already running the Sept release. Tried a long reboot anyway, but neither phone (one is a pixel 10 and the other is a pixel 7) will connect to the hub.

Seems like more maintenance is being done so hopefully they have found something. My Samsung app is now saying down for maintenance but my Pixel phone works.
