Can’t Reconnect IPhone 16Plus to smart Hub 7

Hello all

Hoping someone might be able to help.

I disabled the IPV6 on my Smart Hub pro 7 as I read online it can affect download speeds to consoles as I’m only getting around 600-700mbs when both consoles are wired to the Hub and can support up 1GB download speed and as I’m 1.6GB I was expecting to get at least 900 or close to 1GB down.

since disabling IPV6 my IPhone 16Plus no longer connects to my hub, I’ve tried multiple fixes such as

-Restarting IPhone

- Resetting IPhone network settings

-Disabling private wifi addresses

-Turning IPV6 protocol back on

-Restarting the hub twice as well

I'm currently out of options and fixes and can’t find an online web chat with EE for support

has anyone had this issue and know a one time fix

thank  you

@MojaveCourier : Try telling iPhone to Forget router's connection & then reconnect to it again giving full creds.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I’ve unfortunately already tried that when resetting the iPhones network settings

@MojaveCourier Have you checked that the other devices are getting and that the EE hub is again pushing out iPv6 addresses, you just never know since you did that. The Ethernet speed is only going to be as good as the device that can work on it when connected....
