my partners elderly mothers landline has been cut off by ee. My partners mother went into an ee shop for help with her mobile phone, and was advised that she needed to upgrade her landline , the sales person citing it was needed by next year.
in the meantime sadly she has suffered a stroke so to avoid additional confusion cancelled the upgrade. My partner was told nothing would happen, and the landline would function as usual.
my partners mother has today come out of hospital and it has become apparent that her landline is cut off.
she is old, confused, and not nearby, and the landline is the only workable contact we have with her.
what can we do? We need to do something tonight.
ee help desk don’t appear to have the correct process for such things, just unscrupulous sales people

@Frustrated50 Does the home have broadband currently and in a working condition, if so have a look at the rear of the router to see if there is a phone connection socket, and if so try to plug the phone into that.

@Frustrated50 there is no account access on here and most replys are from fellow customers.
That said, you may find the Complaints Process of use - good luck. https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee/complaint
