My broadband is due for renewal end of Jan. I have full fibre 900Mbs. Upgrade cost is jumping by around £25 more jumping to £72. Sure, I can likely extend my long time customer discount but that still makes it expensive.
I can go to city fibre for the same 900Mbs for £45 pm
What's the advantage of EE broadband over city fibre?
Why should I stay with EE?

@tsfmbarr You will have to get a CF installation done into your home.
Shed load off money saved, and EE are never going to get you down to that level but you can try....
Loyalty to your EE brand helping them with the Extra you are paying! If EE Mobile also taking and one discount saving's!

We already have city fibre installed right to the door (I think) but installation is free.
We do get mobile phone discounts but they hiked the price up of one phone when due to u/g and we found somewhere else very much cheaper.
Time to move away from EE I think.

@tsfmbarr not sure where you are getting your prices from, but you can do a lot better than that
There are some good Black Friday deals about, and may providers do not have increases in April.

The EE price was from their upgrade quote. Yes, I am sure I can call them and get a discount.
The city fibre deal was one that comes with fixed IP and mesh router. Having had a look around, I can even get 2.1Gbps for £27.50 pm. So there are a lot of options out to look at e.g. quality of router and support etc
