Hybrid connect not connecting

Good evening had EE broadband installed today the engineer left without setting up the TV box and hybrid connect. I've done the box without issues but the hybrid connect won't connect constantly flashes with an aqua blue and 2 bars noticed it has a SIM card slot in the bottom should I have received one to go into the device ? Thanks in advance

@dannychamp1 Here is the link to the EE help setup for the hybrid option, see if it can help if you have bars then there is a sim card installed in the unit.
