How do i create a guest wifi?

Welcome to the community.

If your EE Hub supports Guest WiFi, you can create a separate network for visitors using the EE app.

Sign in to the EE app, head to Manage > Broadband, then scroll down to Guest WiFi and switch it on. You'll be asked to choose a network name and password before confirming the changes.

Your WiFi may disconnect while the settings are applied, but it should reconnect automatically afterwards.

Once set up, your guests can connect using the Guest WiFi name and password you've created, helping keep their devices separate from your main home network.

Hi,

When toggling ( within the EE App) the Guest Wi-Fi from off to ‘on’ & ‘off’ (once it is setup ) - does this cause the main WiFi to also drop & reconnect ?

@Clever_Trevor Does the app Flash up a disconnect warning to the wifi change you are trying to do, same shared antennas  so would be a distinct chance that yes the main/comp/guest all drops for a reconnect etc, you may see a brief disconnect if you watch your mobile wifi indicator, then again it will be a short period so little to worry about unless something specific has a reconnect issue device wise!
