How do I test a website to see why it's being blocked by EE advanced security?

Hi Our business websites are being blocked to users who are coming through EE home broadband. Any suggestions for how I identify the issues please. The websites can be accessed when the advanced security is turned off. I've checked virustotal and no issues are showing.

Thank you, that makes sense,  I read it as what Kapersky had displayed, so my error. Kind regards, Richard

@richardfs Kaspersky is good with it, trust me it let's nothing by it at all!

Hi, Thank you to everyone for your help with this so far.

tnj was able to replicate the problem what our users are experiencing.

"I can access your site through EE Mobile and other mobiles but cannot access it through my EE broadband. My advanced security is blocking the website as "It might be a host for malicious activity, like viruses or making phishing attempts. We blocked it just to be safe"."

Can anyone suggest how I can get anyone at EE home broadband to help me with this please? I've spoken to a number of their home broadband tech team but they are unable to help me as I'm not an EE home broadband user.

Any suggestions would be amazing please?

Many thanks, Richard

Hi

Thank you for looking at this. In this chat tnj has reported the issue that our users are experiencing when trying to access https://1.amlcc.com. Is that same block not showing up when you access the site through EE home broadband through a desktop/laptop?

My apologies for keeping on with this topic but EE are refusing to help. Kind regards, Richard

Hi, Could anyone help me get in contact with EE home broadband that can help me with a cyber security block please.  I understand there is an offline team that deal with all things cyber but I'm unsure how to reach them?

Kind regards

Richard

No, cuz I don't use any special @tnj 's "advanced security", whatever that is. So probably not all of your users will be using it too.

This is what is blocking your site but I have no idea how to resolve it.

OK, I don't avail myself of EE Web Protect. Not all users will.

Thank you, it helps to understand that there are different levels of protection in place. From a quick web search it looks like

Advanced Web Protect

is a feature on newer routers. It sounds as this is the feature that is blocking the site. Just need to find out who at EE can help me with this!!

Thanks tnj, glad that I now understand what the problem is.

Thanks again, Richard
