Which model extender is it? There's no flashing Green listed in Fix a problem with EE WiFi Extender . Have you tried moving it around?

Try resetting it up by pairing it to the router nearby & them moving it to where you want it.

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Hi XRaySpecX

Tried moving around not change. I understand it's an extender 6. I also understand about the flashing green light is not referenced.

It starts flashing immediately on power up - I don't get any other colours no matter what I do- my last option is to throw it out the window.

I can't get it to pair to the hub - it's stubborn and only knows a flashing green light. When it was set up, it worked fine. It smells like an early latent failure.

Do you know if you can you pair by using a lan cable between the hub and extender to reset it.

Thanks

Hi Ewan15

its the smart hub plus. It’s working fine. I even powered it down to see it was interfering with the extender - still get a flashing green light.

Yes, pair it to the router by Ethernet, wait about an hour & then move it to where you want it.

I will give it try - to see I can them to see each  other.

Thanks again
