Hi

Do EE still do this as when i try to search Broadband deals it just gives me Full Fibre broadband deals. I only do basic online stuff so don't really need Full fibre & FTTC is less hassle i guess.

Thanks

Yes, anybody can be the bill payer but it is always the a/c holder's responsibility that bills are paid in full & on time.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I doubt they will be able to do a change of ownership in a store.

They said they could when i went in last year but as said the account holder can't really get there so i will see what they say when i go in.

I just want stuff to go smoothly as is reason i ask a lot of stuff as in access to house, landline etc.  I went online to try upgrade it just keeps telling me i already have BB when i click to see deals..  I'll have to go in shop, prob much easier.

Thanks

No a/c holder present: nobody will talk to you about the a/c, in store or on phone. We keep telling you this! You are wasting your time (& ours) going to store or calling on your own. You need to call CS with a/c holder present.

this all I get when click on BB deals

It is likely a Legacy EE Broadband account based on the information there.

These accounts operate under a different billing and provision system from the New EE Broadband packages and this means you would need to call (with the account holder) to look at migrating to a New EE Broadband package and account.

So went in shop and they said probably better to keep in his name as there is a 6 month security wait before it goes through so we will either upgrade in shop or over the phone as seems no way to do it online.

@gazmix_1973 Correct ONLINE is NOT an option at all for doing what you are trying to do!
