The master socket in my home is the one I showed in the picture (FTTC), and EE sent me FTTP-type broadband. So, I couldn’t connect the router and went to the EE shop where I purchased the broadband. They said they don’t deal with sockets and suggested I call 105. I called 105, and they will send an engineer within two weeks, but I don’t want to wait that long anymore. What should I do?

@Eain is this the first time you have had broadband? Don't you have a lead from your previous supplier?
You could just buy a phone to RJ11 lead from your favourite online next day delivery website or try Argos/B&Q or even Tesco.

Yes, this is my first time using EE, and the lead from my previous provider is not the same since I moved to this property that is only compatible with EE broadband. Also, the hub I received doesn’t have an RJ11 port.
Thank you for your help.

EE can't have "sent" you FTTP BB w/out having it installed by an OR engineer which would include the fixing of a small modem box, called the ONT, to the inner wall. You would then connect the ONT to the WAN port of that router by Ethernet.
What does BT Wholesale Broadband Availability Checker estimate for your phone number? Post the whole table and the line above it, blanking out your phone number. If it doesn't recognise your phone number or you don't have one, use the Address Checker.

@Eain which EE Broadband service did you order?
Normally the router arrives a few days before the broadband is available.
Either you have ordered Full Fibre, and are awaiting Openreach to install it and an ONT.
Or EE have sent you the wrong router and you will need another one.
You need to clear this up with Customer services rather than wait two weeks for something you don't know what they will be doing.

When were you given as your installation or "go live" date? That's when the OR eng. will install the ONT & you may connect the router to it. The router would have arrived before then but it doesn't mean it's ready to use on your new connection.
You need to wait until the eng. visits & installs FTTP there on the date that EE would've informed you.
