Hi all,
I have an issue with the ee home app.
It was working perfectly fine. I had set everything up no problems at all. Then the fibre engineer came out and installed the fibre line. Now I cannot get the app to move past the message "it wasnt possible to connect to the network. Please try again."
I can login via the ip address, and all the connected devices have full internet access. However, the one feature I need is only available in the app, and that is the control of access.
I have tried reinstalling the app, clearing cache etc to no avail. It's the same modem, the only change is the move from the telephone line connection to the fibre connection.
Any ideas? Thanks guys.

Just to be clear.
I’ve (had too) move from BT to EE.
You saying the latest black EE router WiFi plus doesn’t work on the EE home app??
My WIFI is all connected but I’m unable to create my account as when I scan the QR code or input manually and say I’m connected I just get…
It wasn't possible to connect to the network. Please try again.
It’s massively annoying.
Even the EE advisors advice was “You have 14 days cooling off - so I’d move to another supplier”
I also cancelled the TV package too, that was awful and the remote only connected the BT box so I’d need 3 remotes to watch TV.
Truly shocking service!!

@MCA2 : That's right, the EE Home app is meant for an older white router.

I couldn't get te EE Home app to work at all, possibly because I have the new big black box Smart Hub32
However you don't need any app. Browse to 192.168.1.254
(Preferably using a PC and wired connection - because then it will work without the vagaries of the WiFI SSID etc.)
The web page is prefectly usable and you can make changes such as renaming the network.

@AlfredTheGreat Yes there is some limitation that you have with the connection via the web interface, and if you stumble across something that you cannot do then 1. head back to the forum to check it out, 2. pray you don't have to use the app to get it done. 👍😭
