Kicking this no good bunch of con merchants into deep touch. Broadband speed reduced from a steady 74 mbs to a sporadic 46 to 56 mbs with an increase of four pounds a month to look forward to. Cynical event! Speed jumped back to 74 mbs just after the price hike announcement on Tuesday but now has dropped to 26 mbs as at time of posting. My sister  half a mile away, is fairing no better on her B.T contract! She signed for a 700 mbs full fibre deal; is only getting 26 mbs on her laptop  and no improvement after a B.T engineer attended and told her it was due to her computer! We tested the speed with Ookla using both my phone and a tablet 10 feet from the hub: No bloody difference! These bandits are asking 50 quid plus a month for a service that would disgrace any third world country! No wonder that they have to fritter away money on ads that promise broadband utopia. Must be trying to replace the deserters that now know better. Sad day that Orange sold out to this shower. Orange WERE very good in my experience. Going to Virgin and sod the penalty.
