EE smart hub plus or tp link ax12

Hi, my 2 yr BT broadband fibre 900 package (no landline) is ending and through calling BT I've renewed to an EE 900 package (again no landline needed). A smart hub plus is being sent. I currently use a tp link ax12 wireless router as I wanted WiFi 6 and split 2 and 5 frequency that BT router couldn't do. Can I use the ax12 router with EE or is their hub plus router WiFi 6 stable, I've read that the 2 and 5 frequency can't be split but also read they can with latest firmware. Can you split them with separate ssid's?

Many thanks

@Ptc1   you cannot split the frequency bands, but the you can have a main and compatable SSID.

The good news is that you will not have to make any adjustments to your own router, the settings are the same for BT and EE.
