I switched over from virgin to EE broadband. I gave my email address and had the broadband installed. But I have no paperwork of my contract or billing. I've received a text today saying I owe a higher amount that was agreed. But no bill has been sent via email or via post. I also have no contract that has been sent to me. I don't know my account number therefore EE refused to speak to me. What can I do as the agreed contract was £42 but my first bill is £62. I am disabled so cannot go down to an EE store to sort this out.

I can totally appreciate your concern with this one, and I'd hate to think things aren't clear with your contract and bills.
Since your connection went live and you signed up, have you had a chance to see if you're able to log in, or register for viewing your account online?
You should be able to see your bills and account number here 😊
