Did you mean:

EE router keeps reatting every 7 to 10 minutes

Ho All,

We have a EE broadband connection and Smart Hub and it keeps restarting every 7 to 10 minutes. When I say a restart I mean the router completely restarts its self.

We have tried a factory reset and restarting the router etc but nothing seems to be working. EE support say there is no issues. Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Tom

@Tepark - Is is a Smart Hub Plus that you have?

There's a known issue with some of the power supply units that cause the hub to enter a boot cycle (giveaway is that the LED goes green as it's rebooting). See here for reference.

If that's the cause, then I'd suggest getting back in touch with support and ask that they replace your power supply.

By restart itself do you mean it completely powers OFF & ON & the lights switches OFF & ON?

What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? Which EE router & WiFi extenders, if any, do you have (read label or post a pix)?

Hi,

sounds like hardware power issue or Overheating issues is the smart Hub pro well ventilated plenty of cool air circling around it.  phone for a replacement Hub

Had the same problem...Turned out to be a failed power supply. They sent me a new one, which I got today,And all is back to normal.

Why the issue? I changed to EE from BT after being with them for 8 years and the power supply was still going strong.]

@procian No doubt some kind off manufacturing issue or unexpected component failure in the PSU, just not able to keep the voltage/current to the EE Router!
