EE legacy

Good afternoon hope someone can help me, due to circumstances I am now staying in a hotel on a temp basis whilst looking for a new place. In the mean time I am still paying the monthly bill for the broadband just so my modem can sit in storage.

Would I be able to down grade my package, my contract does not run out until Nov 2026

Thank you for any help

If you're on an EE legacy BB plan there is no way you could downgrade it. The only way is UP!

What do you mean by you are paying just to keep your "modem" in storage? You can keep your router anywhere. It's yours to do as you like.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I am wondering if I can take the price down or change the plan as I am in a hotel whilst I am looking to move, and it has free wifi.

So technically I dont have my modem/router on me hence why in storage

Thanks

What is the name of the EE BB plan you are on including its speed? Which EE router do you have (read label or post a pix)?

this is the hub I have, took it from Google as its in storage plus I can not see what plan I am on as it says the order is pending and will be ready when it's set up in the home

Thank you

I will give them a call in the morning, I did try earlier but kept on getting the music for 30 mins so I gave up
