I have an EE hub and use it with a Brostrend extender. Devices on the other extender work fine but I can’t see them in the list of devices on the management interface of the router. I would like to see them so that I can get DHCP on the router assign a static address. Is there a workaround or solution? Thanks and I don’t think this has been discussed in the forum before. Apologies if it has.

@Geoffrogers1078 : What is the "other extender" apart from the Brostrend extender?
What is the name of the EE BB plan are you on including its speed? What EE router & WiFi extenders do you have (read label or post a pix)?

@Geoffrogers1078 how is the extender connected to your router? WiFi or ethernet?
The instructions talk about two modes, I suspect it needs to be in Access Point mode to do what you want - but instructions are not clear.

@Geoffrogers1078 As @Mustrum has pointed out AP mode would be worth testing but you do not say how you have it at present, you may be able to manage the extender on the Router through its IP that the router assigns worth a try if not then cable onto the Brostrend Ethernet port and get to its web manager interface, MY EE Smarthub+ did not play nicely with the Asus RP-AX58 as it just could not work out what frequency and mac to assign from the Asus, so had to mange the Asus through its single assigned IP that the EE Router gave it, worked fine no issues as an AX device just a management pain so just made the Asus RP static ip on the EE Router and managed the link that way.

Good question regarding the setup. It’s set up in extender mode rather than AP mode. And it doesn’t have a built in DHCP so it’s the EE router doing the assessment allocation within the 192.168.1.xxx range
in response to the other queries the plan is a 24 month 900gb full fibre plan. Standard smart hub provided
as mentioned it’s a Brostrend WiFi 6 extender model 1500
