EE Smarthub

I have just ordered the EE Smarthub after explaining that I do not have a line to the house. After reading about it, all sites I have look at say plug into your existing line! I was assured that a line was not needed. Can anyone confirm that a smarthub will work without a line to the property?

EE are calling me tomorrow to rectify the package.

The most speed you'll get there is 20 Meg on a VDSL (FTTC) connection. So EE have given you their slowest fibre plan.

Sorry, what needs rectifying? EE have given you the only suitable package.

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

I guess 20MBPS would be better than 0 which is what I have now, I suppose they will tell me tomorrow whether they need to put a line into the property, change the package or tell me to remain unconnected. Thanks though for all of the help in here, it's appreciated.

@Nacsmith As @XRaySpeX has pointed out to you there is suspected availability for your property, your are a fair distance away from the Green street cabinet box, now you also know the number of it you probably could find it, looks about 2Km from you, you also seem very addiment that there is no line to the property, what makes you so sure of this fact?

Sorry, @JimM11 , I have no suspicions about the availability of BB at that property. I dunno what you mean by that.
