EE Smarthub pairing with EE white disc extender

Can i pair up a EE smarthub with a EE white disc extender followed videos but will not pair up ? This not a EE smarthub pro just the black smarthub from a few years ago ?

@Profile closed  No it’ll not work.   To have those white disks working you need the white EE smart router as this router is a mesh network router and the disks only work with this to create that mesh network
