I've recently changed from Sky to EE for my BB and was wondering how I now get EE to cover the early termination fee I've incurred. It was made clear at sign up that EE would reimburse me this fee, just don't know how to go about claiming it from EE.
Thanks in advance.

EE will pay up to £300 of your Early Cancellation Fees upon sight of your previous ISP's bill showing them. You can claim this online @ Switch Broadband to EE and we'll pay your leaving fee.

It was a simple process but not explained properly. I paid my early exit fee yo Sky, £179. I emailed ee switch team. 1 month passed still no reimbursement emailed ee again. Another 28 days as there was a mistake on their part. My ee account now says -£179 so is that it reimbursed eventually. But how do I now access this money and transfer to my bank account???

The EE Switching Offer is not intended to offer a cash alternative and instead applies the early termination charge you paid as credit on your EE account for bills to be taken from.
You could however call EE Customer Services and speak to the billing team to ask if they can refund the credit to your bank account in your case.

Hi @Carolinebrown27.
Welcome to the EE Community!
In the terms for this offer, it's clearly mentioned that this is credit that would be applied to your account.
As @Matt_124 has highlighted though, this will sit as a positive balance on your account, and you can request a refund of this with our customer care team should you wish.
Otherwise this will sit on your account to count towards any future bills, but it's your call 😊

They are capable of putting it back into your bank account in some instances, which is why I've advised to give them a call and ask if they can withdraw the account credit into your bank account
Contact details are available here: https://ee.co.uk/help/contact-ee
The full terms of the offer are available here for future reference, where it is referred to as an Early Cancellation Credit to your EE Account - the way it should be presented to customers is that it means you wouldn't have to pay a bill to EE until the credit is used up: https://ee.co.uk/help/broadband/getting-started/early-cancellation-credit
