EE Smart Hub vs Linksys Mesh vs BT HD Voice

Wondering if anyone is experiencing the same issues with the EE Smarthub, Linksys Mesh and HD phone that we are.

Periodically the phone partially loses service (you can ring out, person at the other end picks up, they can here you talking but you can’t here them). Reboot of the smarthub sorts it.

The EE Smarthub is SH31B. The Linksys Mesh is MX4200. The HD Phone is the BT HD Voice.

I suspect the issue is that there is now two competing wi-fi networks, as I can’t put the smart hub into router only mode.

We’ve been moved from the BT SmartHub that handled this combination perfectly. Other than buying a whole new mesh system, or perhaps an old BT Smarthub off ebay, do I have any other options?

@MatthewArmstron It appears to be an EE DV system problem, do not buy any more equipment as it will not solve the issue of the DV problem you have... BT smarthub2 may do, you would have to try, but the EE app is having some problems with controls to the BT router, so you can search the forum and make your mind up which way to go. New FW of the router may address the issue, and there is a new release out currently so your EE smarthub+ will update sometime... HTH

Edit: the Digital Home Phone section is a little more up to date, with DV issues, just so you know.

I'm currently on r1.34.1-R-1055417-PROD-83002, so hoping r1.35 will address it.

Do find it slightly bizarre I can't trigger an update, but hey....

@MatthewArmstron You just never know, just keep everything crossed and hope for the best. Updates are EE controlled and will download sometime in the small hours of the morning!
