HI
I have just had EE 1.6Gb Full Fibre like installed and now none of my HomeKit devices will work. Even removing the devices from HomeKit and trying to add them again bring up an error stating that I need a HomeKit enabled router?!
If the EE Smart Hub Plus does not work with Apple HomeKit is there a way to make this work?
I also have a Linksys MX4000 Mesh router which works on the network but even that does not seem to be able to connect to HomeKit.
For reference, I moved from Virgin where I set the Virgin router to modem mode and used the Linksys but this seems to not be possible with the EE router.
Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.

@Zatoweegie Can you use the Meross app to control these plugs ? Have you removed these plugs from your HomeKit before you tried setting them up with HomeKit again.

@Zatoweegie Your post is very contradictory with working/not working changes, The VM in modem mode is just a dumb terminal passing the router easily and it is difficult to work out when you say it was working perfect then not? As Mustrum suggested if you do not require an EE Landline, then connect the Linksys direct to the ONT, this is the obvious way to go. If you did not keep the same ssid and password, then you will more than likely have to clear out all the app cache data so that it forgets the old info.

Ahh so replace the EE router with the Linksys. Will give that a go! Thanks.

@Zatoweegie ONLY if you do not require a LANDLINE connection......

Yeah I got rid of my landline. So no issue there.
