Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows when the Smart Hub Pro will release.

ive seen on some websites about the 17th of September, but is this true?

I want it if im going to upgrade to the gigabit package, as most of my devices support wifi 7 or the 6ghz band in general.

@Ryan01 As true picture is not fully apparent yet, especially regarding pricing, you would have the double, upgrade to your 1Gb/s package, and have the addon feature of Pro hub, now is that a separate, or do you also have to combine smartwifi Pro also, so may be a triple. Anything that is NOT wifi 7, has zero or minimal gain with regards to the Pro router....

Most of my devices support the 6ghz band so their would be a big improvement considering the smart hub plus don’t support it

Hopefully I can have it as a add-on when I renew my contract on the 17th then

I imagine new and possibly existing 1.6Gb customers will be the first to get the new router.

@Ryan01 Just in case you need regarding + to Pro. Understanding the speed increase: There is no speed increase in Wi-Fi 6E over Wi-Fi 6. Instead, Wi-Fi 6E makes 160 MHz channels much more commonplace (vs 80 MHz channels)

The smart hub plus don’t support the 6ghz band, it’s only wifi 6 while the smart hub pro is wifi 7 which obviously has the 6ghz band at a improved channel width, so my devices definitely would be able to take advantage of it

Hopefully that’s not the case
