Can someone to the love of god help me?

I have been moved from bt to ee and the upload lag ping for gaming is like 3k jitter.

i am wanting to try fix this by getting new third party hub but unsurprisingly ee hub isn’t great to do this and will get double Nat?
Can anyone help

@Brownc1 Here is the link if you have not already managed to do the Factory Reset yet for your Router! Be sure to hold the button in for at least 20 seconds, but it is best to watch the light on the front once it changes release and let the Router reboot to the connected state!

I’ve already reset

Can you please confirm if the router you mentioned lets me adjust QOS? As my issue is high upload unstable ping.

ny general download and upload speed are fine

the router is coming today

@Brownc1 User guide is what you need so link is below! You may also need the quick setup guide and linked below also for you!

Jim thank you for your help. Will you be avalible today if I get stuck?

@Brownc1 Should be, just let me say this to you set up the hub and connect it first get it working that way, keep away from QOS, you DO NOT have the skill set to do it! You are going to be using the FIBRE 2nd option from the below link!

Ok I only mention qos as I thought I’d need to configure them in order to fix my issue? But if I set it up and it fixes my issue then I defo won’t. But if I think I need to, I’ll send you a message as like you say I really don’t know much about all this. I’m a gas engineer not wifi engineer like yourself. Thanks again

QoS won't affect your ping times. It's more about allocating priorities between diff type of applications. If your issue is with gaming you could allocate the highest priority to Online Games.

Sorry, don't know that router or whether it provides any QoS. You need to follow the User Guide provided by @JimM11 .

@Brownc1 Not sure if your level allows but if so set your PM if you can see the link below. Hopefully you get the Tp online first with no issues!
