Hi , I have created a group of devices within the EE app Manage Broadband and am trying to block access to a number of urls using the advised parental control option.
Whilst it has accepted the ones ending .com, it will not accept those ending in .net as it expects them to be .com or .co.uk type format.
Is there any other way that i can block the urls ending .net?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

What's happening exactly when you try adding the domain to the blocklist?
I've just tried and was able to successfully add a .net domain to a group blocklist 🤔

Hi bobpullen - thanks for quick response. This made me look very carefully at what i had been trying to input (though the url had an url address that had multiple full stops and a hyphen before the ending .net ).
It looks like it was a simple issue of "auto-correct" from my phone keyboard - so whilst i had typed in correctly it had auto corrected to some other text/phrase and hence system rejected it. All sorted OK

I'm really glad to hear this managed to get things sorted for you @Zaxafreon.
Thanks for coming back to let us know, too 😊
