Hi all and wondered if anyone can help.
I’ve just recently upgraded to full fibre (910mbps) and new EE router. I’ve got 3 Deco S4 units which I want to place around the house. One is on the ground floor (front of building) the other is at the back of the building, and the other is on the 1st floor. Walls in the house are very thick and lots of dark spots hence the 3 Decos.
I’ve had a go at setting them up all as access points but only getting 90mbps at each Deco. I’ve hard wired them and was expecting a higher speed to be honest. Is there a way to hard wired them and get a better speed? I’ve looked on line but not found much in how to set the router up/ Deco and hope someone can help me?
Any help/ pointers would be greatly appreciated

@Donaldmackie The deco link for the S4. If you have them all wired correct and are using the correct cable, all 8 cores in use and back to the EE Hub with either a switch or direct for ALL the cables then speed should be well over, at 100Mb/s max looks like your cable is not correct.

Use the following ""deco s4 wired backhaul setup guide"" as a google or from TP.
