EE Broadband WiFi 7 Router Availability ?

I’m looking to sign up for the 1.6Gb service but wanted to ask when the newly announced WiFi 7 Router will become available?

I'll give them a call tomorrow and see what the crack is. Hopefully if it launches tomorrow, they can simply swap the equipment on the order. Otherwise I'll have to cancel and re-order I guess.

I just called them just now, the wifi 7 is being offered as a trial to select customers in Manchester from tomorrow and not going to be widely available until December if the trial is successful

Just been on to bt she rang through to next gen and apparently there been a delay there not going to be relesed to nóvember time

They told us this the other day, then found out that was intact the 5G router, the wifi 7 router is still 17th as of this morning.

Apperantly only new customers are getting them i ended up logging a compaint with the next gen exec complaint team

Well that was fun. So the router launched today, as expected. Phoned at 8am to move my order to the new router, refused to do it. Then lied and said its not available, then it was available, but not to me.

So long story short, had to cancel the order, wait and hour for it to be fully cancelled and then re-order what I already ordered and now have confirmation of the new router being attached to my new order. 

Stupid process and rude staff, but got what I needed in the end.

Their own terms and conditions say that existing customer is 1.6gbps get it included, so they can’t really argue against it
