EE Broadband APP WifI Controls not working

I have recently signed up to EE Broadband.   My broadband is working fine, however the APP WiFi controls feature and the Wifi enhancer are not available on the app or via the website.   An error message appears and states it is a problem with EE.  I  have spoken with the technical team at EE on two occasions and they have recommended i reinstall the APP and restart the router.  I have now done this many times and the APP features are still not working.   This is very very VERY frustrating!    I am going in circles with the EE technical team and it is not clear how or if this will be resolved.  EE is not living up to expectations.  If there is an issue, i would prefer EE acknowledge the fault and advise when it will be fixed rather than directing me to do the same thing over and over again (i.e reinstall the app).   Can anybody help?   Is this new feature just a myth?

The last update on the Google Playstore of the EE app is dated 15/03/24, v 5.33.

If it was just something to do with our accounts, surely we wouldn't still
have these issues SIX Months down the line???
Ditto, tried same & got same result with my Samsung. But my latest app
version is 5.33, not 5.34 as previous person. Also waiting for promised
update from EE complaints team...... they said mine is a "one-off" issue &
not a common complaint!!!!!

iPhones got the latest version of the update for the app today, it might just be taking a little longer for it to appear on the google play store, what id say is check again tomorrow to see if theirs a app update available

Had a call today from complaints team.  No end in site so contract end date removed.  30 day countdown has begun.  Worst Mistake ever moving from BT

Yeah I had a text message earlier stating that an iPhone update is being pushed out today as the fix for some users will now be resolved and android users fix will take a little longer. 

I had a Hub update last night/early hours first then app update today.

i have tried it out and so far it seems to be working… pausing the WiFi on devices takes a little time to kick in but it works. Can see the devices connected now aswell and to what hub/extender 👌 set up groups etc. 

Fingers crossed they can sort it for all soon, I get some are frustrated with this as I too been waiting since day of release for this feature, but I knew it would get sorted soon enough. 
speeds are perfect all around my home and better than sky who I was with before 👌👌 the WiFi controls was the bonus I wanted and now have 👌 hope it stays on now haha and not go away as I pause someone’s device haha 😂 now that would be funny haha 😂 permanently blocked haha 😂 

if I find anything els out I’ll let you all know but for now mine has been fixed. 

Check your Hubs software aswell see if it’s been updated to 1.13.1 👌👌

Technical Management Centre in Newcastle. I just wanted to message you to give you a quick update on your issue. There is a update due on IOS Devises from 2nd of April due to Thursday the 4th of April from the testing of this update we are confident it is going to fix your issue on IOS. Android Devises it is going to be a little bit longer we have discovered the soft-where is not fully working on android we are currently working on a update to fix this so we can fix these issues. Thanks.

also if there is any other issues you are receiving like speed or connectivity of device etc then please contact EE as there maybe other issues going one separately from this post 👌👌

Lucky me my router does not want to update 🤦‍♂️ been waiting for days and factory reset does not seem to trigger it either so more waiting for me 🤷‍♂️

So router has updated overnight finally but despite both this and app updates still not working for me.

What phone do you have? iOS or android? 

If IOS the new update should be 5.34.0 

I think android is still on 5.33 as they are still trying to get a fix there according to a message I received from TMC so there is still a wait on android. 

Hub update takes it to 1.13.1
