EE Broadband APP WifI Controls not working

I have recently signed up to EE Broadband.   My broadband is working fine, however the APP WiFi controls feature and the Wifi enhancer are not available on the app or via the website.   An error message appears and states it is a problem with EE.  I  have spoken with the technical team at EE on two occasions and they have recommended i reinstall the APP and restart the router.  I have now done this many times and the APP features are still not working.   This is very very VERY frustrating!    I am going in circles with the EE technical team and it is not clear how or if this will be resolved.  EE is not living up to expectations.  If there is an issue, i would prefer EE acknowledge the fault and advise when it will be fixed rather than directing me to do the same thing over and over again (i.e reinstall the app).   Can anybody help?   Is this new feature just a myth?

Hi Clare,

This is not an easy fix and calling the guides wont really get you far from everybody else's experience on here.

There is a MAJOR issue with app controls from those like you and me who have been forced moved from BT to EE.

Literally hundreds of users have the same issue and its "being worked on" as we speak with no date of fix.

After months we can now access the app WiFi controls and see what devices are on the system BUT ridiculouslycan't set up a group nor can I actually switch anyone's wifi access off or set up a schedule!! It's agony and going to mean more calls to support.

I think I have lost 24 hours of my life on the phone to EE  😞

Mine still isn't available 😕

I feel everyone’s pain mine was not working from when I took my broadband in October until like a month ago then someone at EE cancelled my broadband by accident then they had to open a new order and raised it on wrong account 😂 as you can see this is never ending. Now most is sorted but then Ee decided to update the app and make it ‘easier’ to manage your services and now I can’t see my broadband or Tv plans but WiFi controls mostly work now 😂

I got mine fully working by using the new EE I'd they randomly setup when I got switched from BT.  This was my BT email address as the login.

However, they have just sent my yet another Hybrid Connect hub (I've got 4 of these damm things now), of which I suspect won't work like the others.

Terrible customer support and I like others have poured hours of my time trying to get it all fixed.

I gave up after originally it worked, and subsequently stopped... But be fair, I haven't too much hopes for new EE Smart Hub anways, and android app it¨s one big mess anyways...

Went to third party setup, upgrading my Omada to 2.5Ghz backbone and enjoying 1.5-1.7 Gbps on wifi as well as UTP, which is simply impossible with originally supplied equipment. 

Saved clearly too much hassle and hours on phone, considering what it's here even months and months later. It's big shame on BT/EE as this is not sorted even after 7 plus months!

I am having the same issue and the frontline staff, make you unitall the login, send you codes and links to a different email address, I have been on the phone for over an hour and simply its just broke, the APP for wifi settings just does not work, ita crap.

Hey, I'm having the same issue I currently have fibed 67 but still not working and it's very frustrating, if you find a workaround can you please contact me?

I'm currently having this issue.  It was working fine for a few months since install and now suddenly it doesn't work.  Is there any fix for this at all?

Hi mate same issue here i’ve been waiting months and months only to be told to wait to ten working days for a call back as i’ve done this multiple times and never heard back and then i’m having to repeat myself multiple times as they leave no notes on my account and no reference i’m getting told ti wait every time with no resolution
