EE Broadband APP WifI Controls not working

I have recently signed up to EE Broadband.   My broadband is working fine, however the APP WiFi controls feature and the Wifi enhancer are not available on the app or via the website.   An error message appears and states it is a problem with EE.  I  have spoken with the technical team at EE on two occasions and they have recommended i reinstall the APP and restart the router.  I have now done this many times and the APP features are still not working.   This is very very VERY frustrating!    I am going in circles with the EE technical team and it is not clear how or if this will be resolved.  EE is not living up to expectations.  If there is an issue, i would prefer EE acknowledge the fault and advise when it will be fixed rather than directing me to do the same thing over and over again (i.e reinstall the app).   Can anybody help?   Is this new feature just a myth?

Sounds exactly like me 😹 But I use most over WiFi and on WiFi 6 I get over 1gbps easily and nearly full speed closer to router so I’m not bothered about the LAN. But the rest I agree unable to use the app and order EE TV either so pretty much same here 🤣

Similar sort of problems. I was persuaded (by BT) to move broadband to EE in Nov. Before then I had a decent broadband system (with BT) & good mobile setup (with EE). Since Nov it's just been a mess. Clearly BT/EE didn't have a workable app before changing over their customers. What a shambles. EE guys on the ground seems to be trying hard but looks like BT/EE aren't putting resources/focus into fixing the issues. No apologies, no updates, no offer of reduced charges for sub standard system - just locked into a nightmare for 2 more years!! Very sad to see decent companies go downhill so fast & very frustrating!!!!

Had a call from the complaints escalation team yesterday, telling me same old story, known fault being worked on and said they are closing my complaint.  This is the second complaint about the App features not working to be closed. I said it looks good that EE have no customer issues as they are all closed but in reality they advertise and sell features that clearly do not work.  I was told to get in touch with the ombudsman and that my contract ends date would be removed meaning I could leave.  I had been with BT problem free for years yet EE would rather I leave than fix this issue.  

I finally have WiFi controls but to be honest it's overly complicated and
if I new what I know now especially after waiting 6 months for it to
actually work I wouldn't have bothered plus now the extra hub that I'm
paying for won't connect and doesn't work its a complete farse!!!

I've had ee broadband for nearly 2 months now and I've not been able to access the WiFi enhancer and WiFi settings from the app at all it just says "unable to load this is our fault please try again later" so frustrating!

I know. Spoke to them yesterday because my router was playing up.  Surprise, surprise. An update coming in April allegedly. Waste of time

Well I am starting to think they either just make those dates up or they really don’t know what’s going on and can’t fix the issue…

I'm gonna go with the no idea how to fix...

BTW someone just posted that their router had an update today - mine didn’t so trying to see if I can force it and see if this changed anything. Not very hopeful but who knows 😂
