EE 1.6 - Seem to be capped at 1Gbps

Morning,

I just noticed my EE speeds seem to have capped themselves again (similar to what happened back in February)

Is anyone else getting reduced speeds? I seem to be behaving like im on a 900mbps profile currently.

Have tried a reset and am connected via 2.5 LAN directly to my Unifi Fibre.

@kjw_kjw Are you 100% sure that the port is at above the 1Gb/s, quick removal off the Wan connection give it a minute and then back on, test again and see Ethernet only. If wireless testing and your device can get above and show then WAN connection is not the issue.

What speeds are reported by running the speed test in the EE app? That will not only measure the raw BB connection speeds you are getting at the router as well as speeds to the device from which you are testing.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

Yep, positive! I am happy with my network... ONT/WAN connected at 2.5gbps and uplink to my core switch is up at 10gbps.

I will continue to investigate, hopefully just a blip.

I remember well jumping through all the hoops requested by EE in February and turned out to be a massive problem on their side.... hopefully im not wasting my time again 🙂

@kjw_kjw Having been through it all before then you should be able to tell if CS is blowing smoke up your rear again. Did send you a PM.👍

Edit:- sure looks fine Unifi wise, you can only test your connection out and see what / where you trust it all to be. Looks like you have a pretty good handle on it though.👍
