Morning,
I just noticed my EE speeds seem to have capped themselves again (similar to what happened back in February)
Is anyone else getting reduced speeds? I seem to be behaving like im on a 900mbps profile currently.
Have tried a reset and am connected via 2.5 LAN directly to my Unifi Fibre.

@JimM11 yep have tried that already, the only thing that is getting me to the right speeds is by offloading to the EE Router. So my plan is to get a Gateway Fibre to put infront of the UDR7 to be the wan interface and then go into the UDR7.

@RemiGruszka Surprised, the UDR7 must have a poor cpu/ram system then and getting bogged down. Are you using traffic monitoring all the time with it, and not as a tool when issues appear? Not sure what the UDR7 does, but on Asus it is a tool to be switched on and yes the CPU does get busy then, looks like you are trying to eek the nth degree out off it, but 1.5Gb/s is still respectable.....

@JimM11 unforuntatley so, its a combination of:
With all of them on I was maxing out at 900mbps, with all of them off directly into the UDR7 i was getting 1.01Gbps. Behind the EE hub with all of them off I was getting a nice 1.6Gbps and with all of them on I am still getting a nice 1.4Gbps it seems that the whole CybeSecure module just boggs everything down massively.

@RemiGruszka With you now.....

The UCG-Fiber can hit 8Gbps with IDS/IPS over PPPoE.

Most (all?) other Unifi gateways do not have hardware offloading for PPPoE and will max out around 1Gbps.

@DoingItSideways I think you are 100% on the money, I have a ticket open with Ubiquiti and they will investigate but looks like it may be a case of having to get the UGC Fiber
