Dynamic IP - How often does it change?

Hi,

I am a EE broadband user. I understand that this means my IP changes ( or is dynamic in other words) every so often, as opposed to static.

My question is, how often does the IP change? Every day? Week? Month?

Many thanks.

Ah, its not my photo. My router is just identical. Just wanted to answer the question regarding what broadband I have, though I now can see you can't tell that by the router alone.

@Dynamic_ip_q   OK no worries, just thought there may have been something else you were after.

As it happens I keep track of my line on ThinkBroadband it can stay the same for weeks, but when it changes it is rare to get the same one again.

Yes, you could have with that router FTTC, either VDSL (up to 80 Meg) or G.Fast (up to 330 Meg), or even FTTP (up to 1000 Meg). Your BB plan will have a name. What is it?

Really, the answer to your OP is "how long is a piece of string" & it's not worth bothering your head about it. EE's is usually a good long strong rope.
