I’ve recently transferred over to EE from PlusNet and therefore might website domains needed to be transferred over. I’ve registered a domain with Fasthosts and they have sent a new IP address for the domain to be added to the EE server. How do I get this new IP address uploaded?
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

What EE server? EE do not offer a webhosting service so you will need to host your domain/website somewhere that does.
Domain registration and domain hosting are two distinct services. You pay somebody for registration of the of the domain name every year or two, somebody to look after the DNS records for your domain, and somebody to physically host your website content. These companies are sometimes the same, but they can be different.
At the moment, your domain name still looks to be registered with Plusnet and has not yet transferred to Fasthosts: -

@Bob26051955 : Domains you have bought from domain hosts are not affected by your BB provider or its swtich.

Domain Status Registered And No Website
You sure you have not just bought a domain but not built a website upon it. I have similar & get "404 Not Found" when I try to browse to it.

@Bob26051955 : Was this website something given to you by PN as part of their service?

I think I just have to wait a bit longer for the transfer to take place. This is a website I have managed for several years. I never did get an SSL certificate but am hoping that there’ll be one once it’s hosted by Fasthosts.
Thank you for your comments guys.
