I recently moved from a long‑established supplier to EE for home broadband and TV. Before switching, I was given very strong assurances that my existing setup — a wired multi‑room system that boosted WiFi and delivered TV around the house — would be fully replaced by EE’s single 7th‑gen router.
It isn’t.
The EE TV hubs can’t get a strong enough signal, and the WiFi coverage is nowhere near what I previously had. EE’s “solution” is that I now need to pay an extra £12 per month per booster just to get back to the level of service I had before switching.
This wasn’t what I was sold, and it’s frustrating to be told the fix is simply to pay more each month.
Has anyone else run into the same issue with EE TV hubs and WiFi coverage? How did you get it resolved?

@SS144 Honestly cannot say what was said to you when you purchased the system, if you did not take the option for smart wireless or you felt it was not needed at that time, if the wireless wifi is just not reaching were required then you do need to speak to EE CS about it, does look like you need to purchase the smart wireless addon, but also look at what you have package wise.... Think you are correct and the addon is £12 but that does allow for up to 3 smart wireless mesh extenders used throughout the home! This will get you into the general area as there are currently two Wifi 7 models the Plus and the Pro.
