Captcha

Hi guys, a little help please 🙏

Past day or 2 I've noticed when using Google search I'm asked to verify I'm not a robot via captcha. Not sure why it happens, it doesn't even happen all the time but it is becoming more regular.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Hi @Jaykay2026

Thanks for getting in touch and telling us about this.

Do you notice the Captcha popping up when you use browsers other than Chrome?

Chris S

I have no idea. I don't use any other browsers, i just use Chrome.

Please try clearing your browser cookies/cache on your device. Or uninstall and reinstall it.

It may also be worth installing a different browser to test if there is a difference.

I cant uninstall it. It's one of those apps thats already on my phone. Ive already considered that. Ive also cleared all history, cookies and caches. I do that on a regular basis.

Rather than using the Google Search Chrome browser, are you able to download the actual Chrome browser and try a Google search through that?

Does this happen mostly when you are on WIFI or Mobile Data?

Is there not a native browser on your phone? I have a Samsung and can use the Samsung browser instead of Google.

Its already installed on my phone, there isnt another one for me to download. It's when I use WiFi. Ive not noticed it happening at all using mobile data.
